The tape sticks on to the skin and provides support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion.

Additionally, it provides soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy. It has a positive effect on regulating pain by targeting different receptors within the somatosensory system and facilitates lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin.

Material

The tape has no other additives than glue and cotton and is latex-free (dermatologically tested). It`s waterpoof and wearable for many days until it loses its stick.  The Tape is also made for water sports and keeps its grip unless it has come into contact with oily and greasy lotions.

Benefits

Kinesio® Tape has the ability to:

  • reduce pain and inflammation
  • retrain the neuromuscular system
  • optimise performance
  • prevent injury
  • promote good circulation and healing
  • assist in returning the body to its natural balance
