Olga passionately believes that individuals are unique and have an innate drive to fulfil their potential and she can help to identify and overcome obstacles that impede achieving such potential. She also recognises that past experiences influence current thoughts and behaviour so some emphasis is placed on an action-oriented therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She can enable clients to set up clear goals in order to modify present experience and focus on crucial aspects of their lives.
Olga’s desire to understand people and how they behave in different situations led her to obtain a 5-year Degree BSc (Hons) in Philosophy and Educational Science at the University of Salamanca (Spain). She specialised in counselling studies and special needs. She took her interest further and studied people’s minds, personality and relationships, completing a BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University (at that time called Anglia Polytechnic University) in Cambridge. As a professional counsellor, she holds a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling obtained also in Cambridge. Olga is a registered member of the British Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (BACP) and graduate a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
