Nina specialises in routine skin and nail problems, biomechanical assessment and orthotic therapy with the particular interest given to a diabetic foot care and pain management. The way your feet function (therefore your gait and posture) may lead to a vast number of lower limbs or back pains. She treats all conditions which affect the foot as well as offer the post treatment advice about prevention of the condition in the future.

Nina is a professional podiatrist working and living in Cambridge. Before she decided to study Medical Podiatry she got her MPhil in Microbiology and worked for 8 years on the managerial level. It gave her a wide academic and clinical background in varied subjects e.g. microbiology, immunology or virology. Her long lasting interest in the research resulted in obtaining her PhD as well as brought her some lecturing experience which she greatly enjoyed. After graduating from East London University she first worked for the private company delivering podiatry treatment with the sale of the podiatry products and then for London NHS. During her studies as well as work time she had the opportunity to work within the different NHS trusts, nursing homes or patients’ own homes and deal with variety of patients‘needs and problems. It helped her to master her skills as a podiatrist which she continues to do on the daily basis. As a qualified, HPC registered podiatrist and a member of Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrist ( SOCAP) she has been practicing for the last two years .

During her work the patients well being was always her highest priority and she quickly was able to develop a good relationship with her patients and win their trust and appraisal. The work experience from both places prompted her to think about her own private practice where she would be able to incorporate the best experience from both work places. Nina’s attention to high standards is not only aimed at ensuring you see a practitioner who is professional, ethical and competent but to get a truly unique approach personally tailored to meet patient’s needs. Her empathy and caring attitude also helped her to do some charity work for Samaritans and Age Concern where she was dealing with many elderly or distressed people of diverse ethnic population, the experience which she found very rewarding.
