MichelleNyangereka201510Michelle is an Integrative Counsellor and member of the British Psychological Society specialising in depression, anxiety disorders and phobias.

After being awarded a postgraduate certificate in counselling from the University of Cambridge, Michelle went on to gain a Masters in Counselling Psychology from City University London and recently completed her Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at City University London.

While progressing towards her chartered psychologist status Michelle has worked one-to-one with clients with diverse mental health needs in a range of settings. She spent a year working with the mental health charity Mind in Cambridgeshire and in the NHS for two years; in the primary care psychological service and as part of the early intervention team working in the community in Cambridge.

Informed by her Buddhist ideals of valuing the unique potential of every individual, Michelle takes a humanistic approach. Drawing on Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural models Michelle works integratively to adapt treatment to your individual needs.

Working with Michelle is a collaborative process designed to help you reveal and connect to your true self, allowing you to move in the direction of what will bring value and meaning to your life.
