The devastating combination of natural calamities which hit Japan last month is, without doubts, one of the most dramatic moments in our recent history. With estimated damages in excess of 200 billion dollars we should all consider what we can do to help those who survived this terrible tragedy and found themselves with no house or other possessions.
At Salus Wellness we organised a successful fundraising event on Saturday 9 April. The event, called Complementary Health for Japan, managed to collect £155 all of which was paid to Oxfam toward their Japan’s Earthquake/Tsunami Appeal.
During the day, several practitioners from Salus Wellness offered free taster sessions lasting between 20 and 30 minutes and accepted a voluntary donation. Treatments included:
- Sport and Remedial massage
- Hypnotherapy
- Energy Healing
- Reflexology
- Reiki
Luca Senatore, Sales Director at Salus Wellness commented: “we hope that the day we dedicated to this cause can make a difference, however small, to somebody affected by this terrible disaster. We very grateful to all practitioners that donated their time and expertise to help people with their treatment and enabled us to create this event.”

Welcoming a total of 13 delegates, the presentations were developed with a strong component of interactivity involving all participants and giving them the opportunity of explaining and discussing their particular issues and getting effective help from both the coaches and the other delegates.
